A PLACE TO CALL HOME

Crooked Creek neighborhood is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis and is home to more than 12,000 residents. The Crooked Creek CDC works to revitalize residential and commercial real estate, create affordable homes, and increase the economic mobility of families living north of Kessler Boulevard, south of 79th Street, and between Michigan and Cooper Road to the west and Grandview to the east.

Recognized as one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Indy, Crooked Creek is home to four synagogues and more than 20 places of worship including Eastern Star Church and St. Monica.
While the average age of residents is 30, most families that live here also grew up here. And, more than 75% of the businesses located on Michigan Road have been serving those families for more than 15 years.
With access to some of the state's best schools, Washington Township Schools helps to ensure that residents are on a pathway to securing economic achievement through education.
ECONOMIC MOBILITY
Historic Michigan Road Byway is one of Indiana's oldest highways serving as a catalyst for Midwest trading, connecting farmers and early settlers from Ohio to Illinois, and establishing many new towns along the way.
Today, Michigan Road sees nearly 40,000 commuters per day connecting Kessler Road to 86th Street, and one of the city's largest healthcare providers, Ascension St. Vincent Health and their accelerated nursing degree program through a partnership with Marian University.
Westlane Road (West 71st Street) connects residents to more than 32,000 jobs in Park 100, the second-largest concentration of jobs in Indianapolis and, nearby Broad Ripple.
