Northwest residents are invited to apply to join NICHE Jr., a summer program designed to prepare the next generation for entrepreneurship.
Crooked Creek Northwest Community Development Corporation is launching a neighborhood business incubation program to support aspiring young entrepreneurs and their efforts to start, manage, and grow a successful business.
From June 6 to July 29, we will facilitate business planning and education classes designed to connect aspiring entrepreneurs and startups with coaching, mentoring, and other resources that are aimed at developing a comprehensive business plan and company brand.
Full and partial scholarships are available for those who qualify.
This program is both rigorous and fast-paced. We anticipate entrepreneurs dedicating a minimum of 30 hours per week to successfully complete the program. Space is limited. To be considered for scholarships, applicants must:
Be a northwest resident between the ages of 16 and 21 and be committed to opening a business in zip codes 46260, 46268, 46278, 46228, or 46254.
Commit to attending 75% of all sessions - June 6 to July 29, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Commit to completing 100% of assignments, on-time.
Gross less than $500k annually, if already operating.
